My hat's off to Matt Miller - my "new" Seroco full plate camera arrived today and it's in beautiful shape. I've never seen a Unicum shutter that functioned as well as this one does. Thanks again Matt!

My pleasure Bob. I'm glad that someone can get some use out of it. I, too, was quite impressed by the condition of the lens & shutter. How old do you think it really is?

Hi Matt,

If it was the one you had the pictures up a couple of weeks ago, when Bob "Sniped" LOL all of us, it looks exactly like the one I have and that one was made in 1914

I'd have to agree with Dave, 1914 seems about right. The B&L lens design dates back to 1891, the shutter design to 1897, but both were common until about the WW1.
