Hello all,

I'm looking for help reassembling this lens.
I got from an uncle and apparently someone took it apart and put the elements in the wrong sequence.
The entire lens in a simple cylinder, so changing the element's order is quite easy.
3 positive lenses, 2 negative ones.

Not even sure this is a taking lens, on the web someone suggests it is a maintenance item for Arriflex.
Any ideas?

Well, ya gotta start somewhere. The only thing I'd be able to contribute is Most lenses will have a convex element
at front and rear. Beyond that it's hit or miss.
I'd suspect that some combinations would give a very obvious fault, easily seen but others may need a test exposure.
