PLEASE NOTE : The CLOSING date for placing orders is earlier than in previous years at June 12th 2015.

Once again we would like to express our sincere thanks to our distributor and re-seller partners who take on the extra administrative work and customer communications necessary to make the ULF run happen.

We would also like to thank all our customers who value our products and order on the ULF and custom run, prices are UNCHANGED from the previous 2014 ULF run.

I have to admit that I am a bit lost about the process; last time I ordered Ilford's ULF film was seven years ago and I bought/ordered the film from the US - I ordered it online, paid in advance, etc - although I lived in the EU at the time. It cost me a fortune (read: custom duties, shipping etc). This time I wanted to stay local so I went to look for German or Italian (LeBonImage and Labitalia, respectively) retailers. What I found instead were *distributors* of Ilford products, not retailers. So, how am I supposed to place the order? Send them an email, discuss costs, and they will work the process with Ilford? Are they my sole interface? Maybe I misunderstood. BTW, I was not able to find any mention about the ULF run on either site. Please help, tnx.

When ordering&shipping within the European Union you don't have to pay import duties or VAT. You can email a local distributor and explain the ULF run to them (forward the link to the Ilford website) so they'll ask at Ilford's and will come back with prices.

Before you order, check other sites for prices too. Sometimes there are huge differences so that shipping from abroad (within the EU) is even cheaper than ordering locally.

I'm gonna ask these EU (internet) shops if they'll participate in the ULF-2015 so I can combine orders:

Go to the dealer listings at the bottom of this file

and order directly through the dealer of your choice. I see one each in Germany and Italy. It should be very straightforward.

Not that straight forward:

Their german dealer actually is a importer. And until recntly did not do retail or give price information even for very special products, but instead made one go to a retailer and have them inquire for a wholesale price and then give you a retail price.

You say that was "until recently." How about now? HARMAN lists them as a dealer, not an importer.

Recently they added a webshop for IlfordPhoto materials. A shop seemingly unknown.

But they are known as importers only and appear that way at first sight. (The same for other companies on the list.) And that is what caused Mammolo's reaction

Simon,

Even those who do not order custom size film realize what a great service Ilford is providing.

Thank you.

Look under Switzerland. It lists Le Bon Image in Offenbach, Germany.

even a distributor if they are worth their salt should be able to refer you to one or more (probably ALL) of their dealers.

I see Ilford has given up on putting "122 size" on the list. Since your web is wide enough for 15 slits of 70mm film, I guess that means it would split into 11 slits of "122 size" (about 92mm). So I guess you never got 11 orders for that size in the last two years. Bummer!

Simon, Ilford now has a distributor in India. Is it also a retailer? Should we place orders there?

I see that Ilford is offering 120 backing paper, but I cannot find it at the retailers. Has anyone seen it for sale?

122 film is 3.625" wide. That's 9.2cm.

They list FP4+ 9cm in 50' rolls. Item no. 1164756.

Close enough for me.
