Off to France this September

Paris for a week then heading south through Lyon to Montpellier. Are there any interesting vintage photo stores, flea markets, etc. that can be recommended?

Boulevard Beaumarchais in Paris is "The avenue of crime", at least for your wallet.

Don't know how it is now, but à few years ago it was packed with shops, some as specialized as "Le grand format" (the large format in english ) which sold... LF equipment , used and new. Worth a walk at least.

If you're in TLRs Photo Suffren is worth a visit also. It's close to the Eiffel tower so you could send the kids/wife to a visit while you have a look...

Take lots of money.

It can be difficult dealing with small boutique shopkeepers if not.
