I've got an odd light leak in my 6X4.5 back. It only shows up in "landscape" position. On this back normal is portrait and rotated is landscape. Any image taken with it in normal or portrait orientation is fine but when rotated "some" of the images have a streak from the left side of the image.
It's an original Pro back I thin with foam light seals but I can't figure out why the problem only shows up with it rotated. Any ideas?
The light seals are likely bad. Check the rotating adapter for seals. The darkslide slot is the most common failure and the top plate around the wind lever is the second.
Post a picture of the negative as it will help.
I probably ought to get a set of seals for the back but It just seems odd only in one rotation and only on this back.
Now if I can just find the link to the light seals
The image at the film plane is upside down and reversed left to right SO place the negative over the film gate with the back in correct orientation to see where the leak is. They can be a pain to solve sometimes.

inspect all the seals n see if they are gummy or crmbeling?
the foam material can be bought from microtools or a very nice kit is available from jon goodman on ebay... im sure some here will post his contact info.
seals are easy to do yourself and cheap enough to justify not sending it out.
