Observe a photographer in action

If you had the opportunity to be with a photographer past or present and observe their modus operandi when taking a shot, who and what shot would it be? For me it would be this (notice the fine line between the woman on the right in profile and the woman behind who perhaps is walking forward to negate this dark line separation) a fraction of a mm, but it makes the shot –
