NPZ vs Pro 800, Pro 400 vs Portra 400NC

How does the contrast of the newer Fuji Pro 800 compare to the old NPZ 800 or Portra 800?
How about the newer Pro 400 compared to the old NPH or Portra 400 NC?

Dear KB,

There is a 4 page article by Ctein in the May/June 2007 Photo Techniques. According to the article, the contrast of the VC versions is now the same as the NC, but the color saturation is still greater. Overall, the reviewer has the films as tossups when the same product is compared between the two manufacturers.
