Not an unrealistic assessment. It may change if like vinyl records it can gain a foothold with enough who can see the difference or prefer the different type of shooting done with a film camera vs. a digital. One thing in film camera's favor is of course the lack of technological obsolesence that besets digital. Lastly, as film sales shrink, large companies may sell off their manufacturing to small companies that can make a profit on fewer sales.
