Maybe this was posted here before, but I couldn't find it using search.

There's an interesting quote in here that rings true (at least for me)... "If you are not interested in surprises, you shouldn't be a photographer".

There are other gems in the film. I have numerous R. Adams's books and really appreciated finding this film.

I saw an exhibition recently in Paris at Jeu de Paume - a retrospective called The Place We Live of Robert Adams work from the last 40 years. The show was curated jointly with Yale University Art Gallery and there's an excellent online website showing a good selection of all the works displayed.

The prints were not huge and all gelatin silver fibre based.
It's a touring exhibition and the itinerary is on that website.
Well worth seeing.
