That's a LOT of work. I'd go w/ the HolgAgon. It looks OK to me. Wood on cameras puts me off. Actually, I like the images from those Holga 120 Pan cameras just as they come. Yes, there's light fall off, but I still like the images from them.

That's pretty cool - maybe not gorgeous, but it works. And it IS prettier than the 8x10 pinhole I made from foam core and matboard. Gotta applaud people making a camera like this in the first place.

And momus, if you don't like wood on cameras, I'll guess you don't like large format?

Bethe, PMFJI. I have 1.5 (lotsa bits in addition to a complete camera) Cambo SC-2s. It contains no wood. The bellows (regular pleated, bag) are made of who-knows-what, certainly not wood.

That said, there are certainly many field and view cameras than contain a lot of wood.

While the Holga is a good project, its not 1:3, only 1:2.
Depends what your after.
