Nova tandem

Hi,
A professor of mine has offered to me the chance to buy his Nova Tandem Processor for circa 150 euro.
But, I'm not convinced. Since there are only two slot, how could I use a stop bath?
What do you think? It will helpful to hear your opinions.

Well it might depend on its condition, size and whether it has a thermostatically heated slots. You can go from Developer to Fix but a third slot for stop bath is very useful.

I would see what is available on e-bay or from two companies in the U.K. who sell second-hand Nova equipment. They are Nova Darkroom and Secondhand Darkroom Supplies. If you google Nova Darkroom and SDS you should find them.

SDS is closed for business until after Christmas but will respond to e-mails until 19th December

I've explored the websites but I think I'll pass, for this time. There's an abyss in terms of price between a Tandem and a Trimate. Well, I'll stick to the trays
 
A tandem plus a tray for fixer can be helpful.

As can two tandems.
 
I suppose that it was intended for an RA4 process with no stop-bath step*, hence the two sections. That would also be with a heater of course, within the water-filled central section of the processor.

*Even though an acetic-acid stop bath can help reduce staining.
