I've just got hold of a used nova rapid print washer and am a bit flummoxed on how to use it. It has a fitting with a long flexible hose going into the bottom of the washer (which I assume you use as the water inlet) and a small hose with a small adjustable valve/tap on it at the opposite end of the bottom (which i assume is the outlet and adjustable to match the inlet flow rate) but it also has a large inlet hole/ fitting on the same side as the long hose but at the top of the unit - this has a plastic nut and washer on it so seems like it can be attached to something else .... but what? I am thinking that perhaps this is the water intlet as this would make the water flow from top to bottom and makes more sense to me than the bottom inlet ....?
Anyway - I will call Nova tomorrow but would be gratefull is anyone else who has used one of these could advise me as I wouldnt mind using it tonight! (always looking for a quick fix)
The big tube on top, the one on the same side as the INLET hose, is your OUT hole. GEt a flexible pipe to fit that. The one with the valve/tap, is to let out the H20 when you are done.
Just to add to Eric's reply I find it helps to fit a short hose to the large drain stub so that the outlet water can be directed away to a drain. Otherwise you have to stand the unit in a sink, which may waste space.
