I just bought a used Nova Processor (4 slots, 12x16?). There are two black plug plastic thing on the back. After I fill the water tank with water, one of them starts to leak water slowly. May be a drip a second. What is the purpose of the plugs and should I just seal it with silicone?

Thanks.

Hi,
You have over filled the outer jacket, the water level should be JUST BELOW these rubber plugs.

The temperature is controlled by a water bath in conjunction with a thermostat on the side of the unit. The plugs are to allow the water bath to be emptied when storing or moving. There are holes on the top of the processor that are used to fill the water bath. It sounds as though the plugs have perished and should be replaced.
