Hello everyone,

I'm considering to buy a Nova Print Processor for my darkroom but I really can’t figure out how it does work 🤔 Especially if you have to work in complete darkness once you star to process the paper or not. How do you transfer the paper to a slot to another and does it maintain the temperature or you have to heat the chemicals and pour the slot? If you have and you can help me to understand it please answer here below. Thank you so much ☺️

The Nova color processors have a water jacket and a heater. You fill the slots with chemistry in the light. Moving the paper between slots would be by feel.

OP Yes it is as bdial says it is by feel but it's an "easy" feel in that each slot follows the previous one so with the clips provided which can be felt in total darkness you simply lift the paper out of one slot and it automatically finds the next slot as the bottom of the paper finds the slot and falls in.

It is as if you climb out of one trench and walk forward. In doing so your feet will find the top of the next trench which is open and you will fall into it as you cannot miss it 😄

I hope this helps
