So I just picked up a NOVA slot processor, I think it's the one called the Pod. It's just a rack that holds three skinny tanks good for 8x10. Air tempered.

Other threads have warned about moving these things when full, but unlike most other NOVA's this unit has no plumbing or drain lines. I don't plan to move it when full but can I just pick up the individual PODS and drain them into the sink when putting the thing away or do I have to go get an aquarium siphon to drain it, much like I did 40 years ago with a 3.5 gallon sink line (but for other reasons).

Mike. I'd be surprised if each pod isn't strong enough to lift out to allow the contents to be poured. If each slot is 1 litre then the liquid weighs about 2.1 lbs which looks O.K. to me for pouring but I cannot state this as fact. I have the 4 slot with water jackets and this might be problematical if lifted up due to sheer weight but once the slots' taps have been opened fo0r drainage I still drain the enclosed water tanks by carefully tipping it on edge and pouring.

If you are ultra conservative you could use a syphon for most of the liquid and then lift each slot and pour.

I had a print pod years ago and yes, they were strong enough to lift out and pour.
