Got another rolleicord and this time it didn’t come with a case. I was going to buy the original “every ready” case but someone must be taking the piss for the prices I’ve seen them on eBay.

Popped in to a leather store, went to the scrap bins, and after much digging I found some stunning black leather pieces.

Never worked with leather before and this was just winging it so I’d say it was a decent job. The front panel/top piece piece was the nightmare so it’s a bit…rough. But it protects the camera and that’s what matters. Attached two snap closures: one at the bottom and one in the back top so it acts just as the regular case did. If I make this again, I’d have a much better idea of how to work that front panel.

Behold: the new Rollei case for $2.90. Heading out to shoot later today!
