I remember using a Nord when I worked in a lab in the late 1960's and early 1970's. If it is like the ones I have seen, it is a floor-standing enlarger, and has its own negative carriers...not like other brands. The one I used had several "cluster" lens assemblies and a big roll paper easel, so it was set up for printing packages of prints of various sizes, all on one width of roll paper. I think the Nord is an autofocus enlarger that has a cam. In general it is a much heavier piece of equipment designed for high production in a commercial lab, as compared to your more popular 4x5 enlargers.
