I can't post to the classified section but I have 3 cameras,
Nikon FM
Canon EF
Minolta XE-7
All bad. I want to give them away for someone willing to pay the shipping cost.

Chan, that's a very kind offer but I found out that German customs will charge me, broken or not, 19%VAT. Depending on their estimated value, that still could be a chunk. So, yes to the FM, but hesitating at the moment. Is PayPal OK?

I don't know how much or how hard it is to send to Germany. Let me find out. Paypal OK but do you have dollars? You can just put money in the envelope and send it to me.

Cash in an envelope is a good way to lose it!

It's not; it's pretty easy. Just box it up, select a shipper and fill out the necessary data. You may be asked to declare the value of the items inside; this is then used on the receiving end to levy duties & taxes. Customs on the receiving end may guesstimate a value if none is declared and especially in the case of broken cameras, this will likely work out unfavorably for the receivers. Customs may decide that they're fully functioning cameras and will then use a standard rate, which may work out as orders of magnitude more than the cameras are really worth. So I'd definitely recommend declaring a realistic value of 'for parts' cameras (IDK; maybe $20 or so).

Just my 2 cts; not meaning to interfere with anything - please carry on.

how did I miss this post. I was in need of a FM until 2 weeks ago.

I will take the FM if Ralph fails to.

The Canon EF and Nikon FM is gone. I am selling a good working Minolta XE-7 and I think would send the bad XE-7 to the same person if interested just to save shipping cost.

It's $20 anywhere in the USA. I will post you another post telling you what is wrong with it. But for now I am ashamed of what I did. By the way the camera is in excellent cosmetic shape.

I was hoping to find one In good working condition, with no electronic issues. Otherwise, I think I’ll pass.

Thanks for the update.
