No UK View Camera for Sept/Oct 08

I had a letter today from Mike Walker to say basically the UK copies of Sept/Oct 08 edition of View Camera has been lost in transit
Also replacement copies are not available
In a covering letter from Steve Simmons we have been offered the option of downloading the on-line PDF version instead
In fairness to Mike he is in no way responsible for the mishap and has been most apologetic about it.

Shame though – to me there is nothing like leafing through a magazine over a lazy second cup of tea after breakfast on a weekend – one of the great delights in (my sad) life

Personally I don't find the pdf substitute a fair deal particularly the price we pay over here compared to the US cover price. I've emailed Mike saying so, and I totally understand Mikes predicament. I think that Mr Simmonds should extend the subscription by one month for the UK subscribers.

Thinking about it I agree with John. I used to subscribe to LenWork Extended, but changed to the printed LensWork because I prefer something to hold to read.
