Good Grief, even a non-photographer would recognize the error here (providing they're over the age of 14).

If you already know the truth, why bother with checking the facts?

Looks like some kind of auto written site, with lots of commercial links. Probably just set up to earn affiliate fees.

The only thing I have to say is, now I know where not to look for info.

Clearly someone at Kodak in 1970 had the brilliant idea that the market was ready for a new antique camera, and came up with the concept of the SX70 instant picture antique camera.

Alas, Kodak has lost its way since those heady days, and has forgotten how to make and market antique cameras.

I wish I could afford the Nikon D3X antique camera.

What model Polaroid is actually shown in the photo? It's not an SX-70. I'm not expert on Polaroid models, but that's a later vintage camera, isn't it?

According to this image at Dead Link Removed, that's some variant of a Polaroid Sonar camera (which did take SX-70 film).

I actually own a REAL Kodak Instant Camera, one of the few (?) not sent back to Kodak after they lost the lawsuit Polaroid brought against them.

I suppose that many people still equate "Kodak" with everything photographic!

But that's no excuse for getting facts so wrong in a written article.

The problem is that all too many people think that AGFA made Gevaert film, while all along it was Gevaert who made AGFA film.
A disgrace, it is...
