no camera needed

blackbirds covering our neighbor's snowy lawn, then they flew all at once to a tree
across the street and perched on the branches like leaves
 
A motorcyclist at a red light with a very large dildo (artificial penis) attached to the front of his helmet... projecting from the mouth area. It was rude yet hilarious. He was an exhibitionist, I assume, because he seemed to be reveling in how it flopped about... and he made sure that it was visible to all who were nearby. My cameras were at home and my iPhone in my pocket. By the time I got over (1) the shock, (2) the amusement, and (3) my ever tightening Levi jeans... I missed the shot.

Oh, and before anyone asks... it was a Yamaha.
 
a couple of times recently ...
an affliction of starling ( 100,000 ) of them
covering the sky like a giant wave flying ahead of me
leading the way ...

soft and hard shadows flickering onthe wall ( like a movie ) ...
giant puddle of coffee(with milk) spilled on the floor of a local library
it was so real, it looked like a prank.
 
local spit of land wandering on the coast. bunches of people quahogging. ultralow tide
abandonned dock pilings and 1800s cedar breakwaters all exposed
silhouettes of people in the afternoon sun .. and saved the life of a north atlantic horseshoe crab
was on its back and i picked it up and put it back in the water ..
 
An elderly gent sitting on a bench at the central station, reading the newspaper reversed ... It started to rain and there was a rainbow behind.

Trees
 
on the main road waiting patiently to make the left turn
2 cars driving towards me
and a waterfall of leaves about 10 feet high and 10 feet wide
blowing all around them in the wind ... they vanished for a few seconds and magically appeared again
 
Yesterday: half the leaves in the pear tree are yellow.
Robins are here, flying over the house. The starlings are making a lot of noise in the trees across the creek.
After the time change: Orion is up, Sirius isn't up yet, when I take the dog out at 10PM before bedtime...
