Visited the Serindia Gallery here in Bangkok today, to view this exhibition and was blown away by the tonal qualities of Platinum Prints.
First time for me to see this wonderful process and even my partner was entranced by not only the imagery, but also the prints themselves.
Shot on a Hasselblad and printed by Salto Platinum Atelier, Berger's images are a wonderful insight into monastic life for the Buddhist monks in Laos.
If any APUGer is in Bangkok during the exhibition's run, take time out from visiting the temples, markets and nightlife to see this wonderful set of images. (And take a spare $24k with you to purchase one of the 30 LE portfolios of 28 prints and book that accompanies them
