Thanks for posting this. Great stuff, and love her name. I'd like to see more of her work because that was the Golden Age for photographic design and fashion. Ms Leen had a darned keen eye for composition too. The photo she made of the big name artists at the time is amazing.

I wonder how she got them to pose together like that? Some of those folks didn't like each other. Trade secret I suppose, unless it was the usual $5, a bottle of wine and a hooker, and Hedda Sterne (aptly named!) seems determined to squelch any idea like that. Geeez, I wouldn't want to cross that lady.

i'll bet that life cover was considered a bit racy and controversial back-in-the-day!
