Looking for a tank that will take 4x 135 reels or 2x 120. I already have 135 reels, but wouldn't mind a center column (not even sure its necessary in a 4x configuration? Educate me please

Also looking for a 120 reel.

I have a tank with reels and a center column pull handle I could let go of, but it's an Omega. If you're interested, I'll look for it and send you photos later this afternoon.

sure share a few pics when you have a minute, the nikors seem nice as the top is metal construction, and seems less prone to wear. I'm just getting into metal tanks, so happy to learn more.

I find the lifter to be quite handy. A couple of my tanks came without but it’s easy to make one from stainless steel welding rod.

Thanks steve, it rattles like mad in my 2L configuration, so was hoping to cut the noise i make. Maybe I can fashion one out of plastic.

The metal top and cap is nice - as long as it properly fits the bottom. The plastic tops will eventually crack, but replacements can be purchased.

Perhaps you could push your metal lifter into heat-shrinkable tubing, and then shrink it using a soldering iron or another heat-source. That might quiet it enough.
