Nikor stainless steel reels use to come with film guides to help feed the film straight and keep it from buckling while loading. Of course I threw them out years ago and now that my fingers are not as limber as they use to be I regret it. Does any body know of any one still handling these in the 35mm and 120size?
I haven't heard of these being offered lately; you may have to try E-Bay. Another possibility is to get some Hewes (of King Concept) reels which are almost impossible to load incorrectly, at least the 35mm size. Kinderman's with the puncturing spike in the center are a very close second, especially for 120.
