Last Month or so I decided I would spend summer 21’ shooting film again. Figured I would order a slew of projects and pick one from the pile.
Well! I’ve made my choice and this little kit is looking for a new home.
Nikon S body - fair cosmetically and fair mechanically. Curtains seem fair with no obvious holes and no flaking rubber. Shutter is sluggish at all speeds but it does respond. My opinion is that a regular old CLA would have this working tip top.
Richard Haw has a great 3-part blog post on refurbishing the S that I planned to follow. If you have any experience digging inside cameras this would be a pretty fun project to do yourself.

Nikkor-H.C. 50mm F2.0 - very fair cosmetics with fair optics. Internally very clean glass no haze or fungus. Externally there are typical cleaning marks on the front element that have no influence on performance. Black barrel version. Aperture is smooth with very minimal oil on blades. Includes a Nikon pinch cap and no rear cap.
