Two very early Nikon rangefinder lenscaps. These may date to the period when Nikon was making Leica thread mount lenses. The smaller one has 40mm (50mm f1.4?) female threads, the larger one has 48mm female threads (85mm f2?). Nice shape.
$50 for the pair shipped to the lower 48. USA. Bonus: buyer also gets four 40mm filters (GAF, Walz).
They are rear caps for the hoods.
When the hoods are reversed and placed over the lens for storage, the caps screw on to the rear of the hood. This protects the lens while the hood is reversed.
