The children, please think of the children!

Mine is named Nicole, "Nikki". My wife suggested the name.
I think it was subliminal from having the word "Nikon" pointed at her for years.

Industar-61L/D, collapsible mount, on the Nikon S3. This is a sharp lens, never made in Contax/Kiev mount.

I was on the hunt for a plain prism F2 when I stumbled upon another plain prism F for a great price. Well I figured I'd pick it up to possibly sell to acquire the F2. Sure enough a plain prism F2 came up just after I got the second F and was also at such a good price that I didn't even need to sell the second F.

I'm keeping it for the symmetry . . . :whistling:

I have really learned to appreciate Nikon's contributions. That they would release the FM3A in 2001 - against all conventional wisdom, certainly made me respect them even more!

That's amazing combination Les.
Nikon did the same on 2019 when announced the development of another(last) DSLR.
The legacy of SLR cameras could not be represented by better than Nikon and Nikon F mount.
No camera maker in the history continued for 60 years making the finest examples of SLRs with the same genius lens mount.

Yes, totally different league- the Dead-Mount League. Canon dumped the FD mount shortly after the New Canon F1. Nikon still makes manual focus lenses. 35 years later, my F3AF still works- and I can use new Nikkor lenses on it.

My three favorite Nikons. View attachment 232351 View attachment 232352
Brian,

When did you sneak into my house and peek in my Nikon cupboard? :D

You missed out the F2Plain, F2S, F2SB, F2A, F3, F4 and F5's
