This is my first camera. I bought the FM10 because it was the only camera I could afford. Little did I know back then I could have bought something used. Well, live and learn.

I quickly ditched the zoom lens that came with the camera and bought this really nice Nikon 50mm f1.8 lens. The lens is in great shape. I'd rate it in Ex+ condition by KEH standards. It comes with a Nikon front cap and lens cap holder. Unfortunately I have no rear cap. The lens works perfectly, and would love a new home. I'm asking $55 for the lens, plus shipping, which I believe is a nice deal for the lens.

I'm guessing I won't have much luck selling the FM10 as it wasn't very popular, but just in case, here are the details: It's in very good condition. It works perfectly--I bought it new and took care of it. Shutter speeds all sound good. There is a little bit of finish wear, and I no longer have the strap, or the case. (that's what happens when you lend a camera to your brother...). Asking $30 for the body, plus shipping.

Buy both together and save $10

I accept returns if you're not happy with either item.

I'm not sure how to tell the difference between AI and AIs, or what the difference is to be honest, so I'll take rthomas's word that it's an AI.

Man if I were you, I'd keep the 50mm. It took me years of not using my 50mm and coming back to it a couple of years ago to really appreciate it. It's one of the most underrated lenses. The 50mm F1.8 is actually one of the sharpest, most highly corrected lenses out there. And the speed of the lens is great. Think about it.....

I'd hold onto it if I still shot 35mm or thought I might in the future. It was a very sharp lens and I definitely loved the f1.8 aperture. But, I'm in love with "the square" and my medium format camera. 35mm just isn't for me anymore--I'm really a one-camera kind of person, and my Hasselblad and 80mm lens is all I really need/want to enjoy a good photo outing/shoot

It's the longnose--most beautiful rendering of all Nikon fifties I've seen. Somebody grab it before I do something foolish!

Haha  Well I don't know if this is good news or bad news, but another APUGer has agreed to buy the lens.

Just to be clear, the lens is sold. The camera body, however, is still available.
