Selling my favorite camera. It's worked perfectly during the 2 years I've owned it, and somehow it's still relatively unmarked. It has everything you might need, 1/8000 shutter speed, P, A, and M modes as well as two other types of P modes. Bright viewfinder that allows me to see the whole frame w/ my glasses on, user replaceable focus screens, and takes AA batteries. I only used it w/ manual focus lenses and assume the AF works since I haven't used AF lenses for over 20 years. If it doesn't work I would be happy to take it back. Love the shutter sound on these!

Yes, these look a little dated today, but remember, this was Nikon's second best film camera at the time, and a heck of a lot lighter and smaller than the F4 at the top of the list. The N8008s cameras aren't as old as the N8008 cameras, and have some upgrades too. The wide, comfy strap is also included, it's almost new.

US sale, $55 + $15 priority mail shipping. Paypal, money order or a ck is fine.

That's a gem -especially at that price.
This N8008s has a spot-meter option (the N8008 didn't) which I have found can come in handy at times.
AF speed is quite respectable. I agree about the shutter/wind sound, unobtrusive and very satisfying. I love mine and should use it more. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks Nitroplait. It's the most capable camera I have ever owned, and when you use these you KNOW the shots will be properly exposed. That AE w/ AE Lock (which Pentax should have put on their the ME Super) is so much faster than manual exposure. The shutters remind me of the photojournalists years ago, at big events you would hear the Nikons w/ motor drives and shutters firing. Ka ching-rrrrr, ka-ching, rrrrrr
