For Sale Nikon N80 / F80 Latch Repair Kit

I figured I would make a new thread for the purpose made NIkon N80 / F80 latch repair kit.

Basically the same exact idea as the F100 but with dimensions that are more tailor made for the N80 / F80 cameras. The filing guide is slightly different as is the latch. Pictures are from a N80 I got off of eBay with broken latches. I have a eBay listing for these but for forum users I can offer these for 32 shipped for USA (International buyers pay actual shipping costs). I got both of my N80 with broken latches on purpose; I think the metal latch is so much better. I can tell from the picture this new latch will fit the N80 perfectly.

This latch kit will also work with the N70 with very minor modifications. I recently acquired a N70 to check dimensions and fitment. While they made the door removable just like the F100, they added little steps inside the camera door that prevents the N80 latch from dropping in. Just radius the edges, or ask me to, and it fits perfect.

Update: I am currently in production for the stainless version of this kit. I also have broke out a separate version for the F70/N70, F60/N60 and F50/N50 since the F80/N80 latch is not directly compatible without modifications. Makes it easier for order processing and accuracy.

ETA of Stainless Latches; Mid March 2025.

The original latches of my F100 and F80 are still fine and working (and I always do the trick to avoid any pressure on them so that cracks can be avoided).
But:
If nevertheless one of mine will break in the future I will order your repair it immediately!
And I am permanently informing other Nikon users about your excellent repair kits.

Work such as yours is so extremely important for our community, because in most cases defunct cameras can be repaired with a little bit of knowledge and ingenuity.
I hope you can find even more repair solutions for other problems as well .

No. I do however make a dedicated stainless latch for that camera.
