Up for sale is a Nikon N6006 Body in fully operational condition with a brandy new Li-ion battery, an AI 75-205mm tele-zoom with multi-coated glass and a constant 3.8 aperture in minty condition. Also included is a spare body for parts.

I responded to a craigslist ad for a free camera. The camera had been dropped and the battery door and bottom cover were damaged beyond repair (more than 20 years ago according to the owner). It had a 50mm AF lens on it which I sold on ebay already.

With the help of a kind soul on this forum, I found a spare body for parts at KEH. I paid $12.50 for it ($2.50 for the camera and $10 for shipping). I swapped the bottom cover and battery door. I bought a battery for $10 on Amazon Prime. Loaded the battery and it came to life just like new. The shutter/meter respond to alternate lighting scenarios in Aperture Priority, just as you would expect. With the film door opened, I watch the shutter curtain open at 1 second and it looks spot on.

Including this minty fresh telephoto zoom to make it ready to shoot (manual focus, of course).
