I am now a Nikon F100 & MB-15 owner, and although neither came with any documentation, I have managed to download the F100 Instruction Manual from Nikon. I cannot find anything on the MB-15 through Nikon or on the normal web sources.
Can anyone point me to the MB-15 Instruction Manual, or a site with user information on its settings and use.
Thanks FM2N, I had already tried the excellent butkus site, nothing there.
GeorgeDexter, it looks like a lovely camera, purchased on countless recommendations from quite a few different sites, now, if only I could figure out the MB-15 as I seem to be doing something wrong. I have not used a grip before.
Forst open battery compartment of camera body. Remove batteries and insert. Place new batteries into the MB15 insert into camera when it is seated turn the locking ring on the MB15 turn camera on and fire shutter from body then fire shutter from bottom side of grip.
This should work.

I have been reading the F100 manual, I have not come across a lock button before. I take it that this is mirrored on the MB-15 with an L-o switch next to the shutter release.
For some reason, I was getting no response from the grip so assumed it was to do with this switch. Took it off and put it on again, nice and tight, and it is working perfectly now.
The only issue that isn't obvious is that the terminals on the bottom of the F100 that connect to the MB-15 normally have a little rubber cover that is removable. There is a little slot on the top of the MB-15 (the part that gets hidden by the F100) where you can store it while you use the MB-15.
