I found a Nikon AF600 in a charity shop for £6 (the battery cost me more) and it seems like a nice shooter, especially the 28mm lens. I read that the DX coding only registers up to 1000ASA.
My question is, if I load a roll of Neopan 1600 or even Delta 3200 will the camera read it as 1000ASA or assume no DX code and set 100ASA?
I just bought another of these cameras and this one came with the manual. Now I know that it doesn't read 800 speed film either, great, I'm halfway through a roll of 800 in the other one I've got. To make matters worse, it's rated it at 1000ASA rather than 400ASA. Grrr.
However, it seems a simple job to get it to read Neo1600 as 1000ASA, just one black panel to scratch off.
