Hello,
I have a Nikkor 35mm f/2 with amazing glass but have found out that this glass is loose. The glass elements are not tight. Is there a place in NYC that would be able to repair the lens? Any idea what the price would be?
thanks
Arthur

Have you tried looking up Nikon Authorized Service locations at the Nikon web site? They should have one (or more) in your area. A few years ago I had a 50/1.4 overhauled by one of the authorized service shops in my area and it came back as good as new, and the price wasn't unbearable either (but I don't remember how much.).

I have actually discovered that the whole front element was loose. I was able to screw it back down and it now is not loose. I will hope that it stays where it is.
Thanks for the help.
