I received today a Nikon FM2 has a christmas exchange. The camera is missing the battery latch and the self timer lever (no big deal).
Only problem though, that's keeping me from using it (the camera only needs some cleaning and it's ok), is a problem on advancing film.
I have to advance the lever a little, then go back to "unlock" the full advancing then I fully advance. After that I have to go back and I have to go further again a few times until something inside knacks maybe 1mm that is being left on the cogs to advance the lever and it's set. (Right now it wont even fully advance, it's all lazy now).
Does anyone had this problem? Seems very common problems with the advance lever/shutter but I can't reach a point to detect which one my camera suffers from.
