The seals look ok for now, but they are original to the camera. They are not to the point of disintegration yet, and the body is light-tight. But its always a good idea to put new seals in these vintage Japanese cameras. I will substitute the Access lens for the E-series lens for the same price, or sell the body for $65 + $11 shipping, plus $2 if you want it insured.I could use the body, but I already have that lens. What do you think? Is there a problem now with the seal?
At the rate it is going, it may very well be available in a month. I just hope that I am not living in my car by then. A recent veterinary emergency on top of moving expenses has me in a little bind at the moment.I'd really love to buy this, but my finances are in a "recuperate" rather than "spend" mode at the moment. If it's still available in about a month, I'll probably be game.
I didn't get your message, jgcull, but I did respond to your questions regarding the light seals and lens earlier in this thread.I sent you a message I've not rec'd an answer from. Did you get it? I mean, I guess not. I will write again.
