I'd like to clean the dust off the inside of the small glass that my eye goes up against when looking through the viewfinder. There's dust on the inside of it ( and a lot of it ) but I can't see how to clean that off. Any ideas. I'll even send it out to have it cleaned by a qualified person. Any recommendation?

The FA has an interchangeable focusing screen. Try first removing it cleaning the focusing screen and the pentaprism side above it and if the dirt is still there and it annoys you badly send it out for cleaning.

If the periphery of the eyepiece is soft rubber try unscrewing it.
If it unscrews easily you should be able to remove some dust with soft cotton waste. If you still have dust ignore it.

If they don't have the rubber surround 'eye piece' and you wear eye glasses then it is still available as a NOS part.
