I'm shutting down my darkroom and will be selling my enlargers, JOBO Processor, Seal Heat Press Mounts, Hasselblad, Nikon Equipment and maybe my 4x5 cameras. This sale is for my Nikon F5, lenses and teleconverter. I just pulled
the Nikon out of its bag after not using it for the last 8 years or so. I loaded it with batteries, turned it on with a lens attached and pointed it around the room and checked that it still focused on the objects I pointed it at. Thats the extent
of the testing that I performed. Anyway, I've always shot with a 4x5 while using the Hasselblad as a backup and the Nikon for quick shots. So basically the Nikon wasn't used very much at all.

The Camera and Lenses are:

Nikon F5
Nikon 300mm 4.5
Nikon 70-300 4 -5.6
Nikon 28- 80 3.3 - 5.6
TC-201 2x Teleconverter

I would prefer to ship to addresses in the USA but will ship out of the USA but shipping would not be included...

Price for everything: $825 - Shipping via UPS insured for $25...

I've been a B&W photographer for the last 13 years shooting landscapes around the country and selling my work at Art Shows... You can learn more about me by visiting my website at www.gmhowerton.com.

I am wondering about the drymount press and if, possibly, you might have a 16x20 or 20x24" print washer as part of your darkroom equipment?

I have two Seal heat presses, I only used fiber paper for my prints. One press will handle 16x20 prints and I purchased it new. The second press is a Seal 500 and will handle 20x24 prints which I mounted on 24x30 white mat boards. The Seal 500 shows its age, but I usually heat it up to about 250-275 to mount the fiber prints and it performed properly... Both presses are heavy and the 500T is really heavy. When I ordered/purchased the 500T, it came in on a pallet.

Yes, I have a print washer ... Its a versalab and I have two inserts for it. The first insert has about 16 slots and you can wash anything up to a 16x20 size print in it. The second insert is made for 20x24 images and will hold 4 at a time. The 20x24's are curled in half, end to end, and slid into the trough. During the wash, all prints are held down with supplied solid plastic bars to keep the print edges beneath the water. When I made bigger images, such as 24x30, I had to wash them in the bath tub.

HI Fotch,

I purchased the F5 from a guy who had two and kept this one as a backup, according to him. Upon examination, it looked like it hadn't been used at all when I got it. Thats all I know about it. I do have the box for it.
The lenses were purchased at the same time and I think they are a mix of new and used. The 300, which comes with a leather like pouch looks new but it was purchased used. Of the other two, one was purchased new and one was purchased used... I really don't remember which was which...

Hi Chris,

Back in February you asked about my print washer... I have the Versalab washer with two inserts. One insert has 14 slots and will handle any size print up to 16x20. The second insert has 4 slots and will handle 4 20x24 prints. The 20x24's have to be curled in half and inserted into the slot with the opening at the top. The washer comes with two sets of rods that rest on top of the washer inserts to hold the prints down or better said, they keep the prints from floating above the water line to ensure the entire surface is washed properly.. If you're interested in the washer I'll sell it for $350 + $40 shipping. I'm getting ready to offer all of my darkroom equipment on Apug for sale. I've already re-listed the Nikon F5 and my Hasselblad 503cw. A Jobo processor with tanks & reels and heat press mount will be listed soon.
