Nikon F4 Not Working after cleaning heavy corrosion

Bought on the bay, it was heavily corroded on the battery terminal. Pics attached.
I thouroughly cleaned and restored power, but not working beyond a motor drive noise and shutter click sound.
When it first turned on, meter worked, AF worked and the winder. Now it's resorted to only this and nothing else. Any ideas?

Looks like the damage is more extensive than just the cosmetic/superficial stuff in the battery compartment. Either the camera has suffered more major moisture/water damage than you assumed, or the leaking electrolyte from the batteries has made its way through the innards of the camera. I'd start by opening it up and verifying the extent and nature of damage.
