For Sale Nikon F4 body + (2) lenses

hey all,

well, 35mm just ain't cuttin it for me anymore, so I'm letting my Nikons go. They've worked great for me, and I'm sure they'll work great for the next person.

here's what I have:

1. Nikon F4(not sure if its an "s" or not), with the mb-21 grip.
It works flawlessly, spacing is perfect between negs, all shutter speeds are as accurate as I can tell, TAKES A STANDARD CABLE RELEASE(yes, screw-in one ), and has just some minor "love"(rub) marks here and there. This bad boy has plenty of life left in him, and will provide years of faithful service. I'll pop new batteries in him before shipping too! EDIT: on the bottom part of the body, there's a silver hole w/ (2) pins. One of the pins is broken. Not sure what this was for(electronic cable release maybe?), I've used a standard threaded cable release with the body all along flawlessly.

2. Nikon N6006 Body
works great, has some rub marks(and some paint loss) in some places, but is a solid performer. Nice "walkaround" camera body. In-Camera flas works fine, and it takes screw-in cable release too !

3. Nikon 50mm 1.4 Manual focus

I'm not sure of the vintage on this lens, but one thing I do know for certain, its STUPID SHARP!!!!! Even at 1.4, it throws such beautiful light, it pains me to sell it .
Some very minor marks on it, glass is super clean, and will come with front/rear caps.

4. Nikon 24mm AF(non-D version)

Lens is great. Has some internal dust(2 largish specks, see pictures for size reference), but I haven't noticed any problems with my film so far, and I doubt you will either. AF works fine, and aperture is nice and snappy.

An F4 with the MB-21 is an F4s. The plain F4 has the rare MB-20 grip, which makes the camera smaller but you lose the vertical grip and vertical release button as well as a reduction in the film wind speed. The plug on the front of the MB-21 is for the Nikon MC-12A electronic release. I love the electronic release, much nicer than using a cable release because its very long and can't shake the camera if you don't hold it perfectly still during a long exposure, like a cable release can.

That's a sweet deal. Nice camera. I remember spending my whole summer's earnings to buy one new in 1989 and it didn't even come with a strap or useable body cap. 22 years later it remains a nice workhorse bridging the gap between modern features and manual control.

Unfortunately, I've spent my last $ buying LF gear and hoarding film.
