Hello,
I have another problem with my Nikon F3. The main shutter is not firing anymore. The mechanical shutter is fine and the display is intact, showing plausible shutter speeds.
After searching through many articles and forums, most solutions pointed toward the battery. In order to that, I changed to brand new LR44 batteries. I actually tried three brands - all new. I also cleaned the battery contacts und made 100% sure the batteries are inserted correctly. But still no main shutter function. The main shutter does not feel stuck or difficult to move. Just feels normal.

And yes - the camera switch is turned on.

Could it be an electrical problem? Do I have to disassemble the main shutter and give it a wipe?

Thanks for your help in advance
