Doubtful. See post # 20, then look at pictures in post #15 and post #1.

I watch the video. When the lens ridge pushes against the coupling it moves but when the lens ridge is moved away from the coupling it didn't spring back. I have seen this behavior before. All I see is that the coupling is sticky and the spring tension is insufficient to move it back. Pushing on the coupling back and forth may work it loose If not the viewfinder has to be repaired.

Look at the pictures. The front cover is dented in , it is causing the follower to drag.
