For Sale Nikon F2A black body

Trader history for Maxwell (4)

It is becoming clear to me that with all of the "enablers" around this area, it is probably best that I have never really gotten interested in Nikon camera equipment .

I, for one, am always willing to "corrupt" one of my "non-Nikon" APUG family members. Let's see, Matt...I could introduce you to the various F2s, the F3HP, the F4e, the F5 and the F6. Each has its respective virtues and, I believe, a strong argument can be made for owning a number of different models. And then, of course, there is that magnificent Nikkkor glass (oh, and what a selection....).

Matt not at all - now's your chance - and we are practically neighbours

lol, nah, was talking about the other extra F5 that you were thinking of purging. David showed mild interest in trying one out.

The other F5 in my arsenal was found to have issues with the sub-command dial: shutter speeds would stick, jump erratically, freeze and, on rare occasions, work as Nikon intended. A trip to Nikon in Toronto remedied the issue at a cost of $300.00 and change (CAD). Given that I paid $212.00 USD, and had intended to sell it at that price (a later number -318xxxx - almost mint, cosmetically) the camera is now a keeper...

Yes, he's in the Vancouver area. So, might be cheaper (or quicker, now that I realize that you've a ferry trip to deal with) to meet up with him.
