The only camera I ever truly regretted selling.

Here's your chance to replace it. After trading away and repurchasing my F2AS twice, I finally told both local shops to not let me trade it in again. So, I've kept it. Recently sent it to Sover Wong for the standard service (well worth it on any F2, btw). Added a second, which will be going to him in a week or two.

Hey Maxwell,

If you've a passport, maybe consider bringing the camera down to the swap meet in Kent on Saturday. I wouldn't be surprised if Ralph Javins shows an interest in it. ;-) Either that, or you might be able to trade it for some stuff that you want.

Believe me the desire was there! I bought a mint F5 so that will have to do.

Maxwell, send a PM to BradleyK. I think he has one that he might be interested in offloading.

David,

Figured as much. If you do get to the point where you can let the NAS loose again, I suspect he'll still have it.

Must resist!....

Too late: The F2A that I was looking to "offload" is in a bubble-wrapped filled box - along with a second p-less F2 - awaiting a trip to the post office tomorrow at 9am, to make an excursion down to the Great State of Washington where both will greet their new owner, one Ralph J., sometime around the end of the week. That leaves only two F2As in my arsenal: a mint chrome 1978 body and a 1980 chrome body (the "Shelf Queen," last used in October 2010 to shoot Kodachrome, and soon to be "Soverized" back into active duty).

lol, nah, was talking about the other extra F5 that you were thinking of purging. David showed mild interest in trying one out.

It is becoming clear to me that with all of the "enablers" around this area, it is probably best that I have never really gotten interested in Nikon camera equipment .

There's still time...
