Hi,
I'm considering buying an example of Nikon's original 35mm f3.5 PC/shift lens. I know that there are issues regarding its inability to operate with the Nikon F when fitted with the Photomic finder, but can anyone say definitively whether that original PC Nikkor will operate on an F2 with a DP-1 finder? The problem, as I understand it, with the F was that the finder obstructed the movement of the shift lens and so the F could only be used if a non-metered prism was fitted or by using the waist-level option. Any thoughts regarding that shift lens's operation with the F2/DP-1 combination gratefully received.
Thanks,
Steve
