I was messing around with my camera, just experimenting with its functions, and while in bulb mode, I set the TL setting to "T" and pressed the timer shutter.
As the timer was counting down, I also pressed the regular shutter, and the mirror got locked in the up position.

While trying to see if I could get the mirror the fall back down, I wound the self-timer, but it suddenly lost tension and is now free-spinning.
There's no winding sound and I can flick it with a finger to make it rotate. The timer shutter release also does nothing.

I eventually got the mirror to come back down, and as far as I can tell, the rest of the camera is working properly, but the self-timer is just free-spinning with no tension.
However, if I wind the film advance lever and depress the top shutter, I can feel the self-timer button pushing outwards until the shutter fires. It seems like the button is still mechanically linked, but the timer winding mechanism has decoupled?

I'm wondering if anyone might know of a potential solution to getting my timer back?

While this isn't my first mechanical 35mm, I did just get the F2. And yes, I know I shouldn't have messed with the camera beyond what it was intended to do.
