I have an F100 which is missing the eyepiece "cover" (circular rubber part which protects eyeglasses/eyes). See photo.

I tried a DK-6, but don't see how that can be attached- there must be another part used with it.

Having guessed wrong once (and not wanting to add to my collection of strange spare parts), I think I may need Nikon 2927. I suspect that will screw into the inside of the metal eyepiece frame. But before I order one of those, I'd appreciate it if someone could confirm I need a screw-in eyepiece, and whether #2927 is that piece.

Thanks!

Rick

Liam,

you are the man! My search did not turn up that page. Thank you!

Rick

Mine is in the same boat.

So the Dk-6 screws into the 2927 and the 2927 screws into the camera?

The DK-6 doesn't screw in: it fits underneath the eyepiece. You unscrew the eyepiece, fit the DK-6 and screw back the eyepiece.
A tip if you don't find a replacement: look for a used F801 or F90 cheaply. The eyepiece is the same. BTW, The F4 eyepiece fits on the F100, but it is an overkill for the F100 as it is also the opposite way!
