If one owns a Stradivaious violin it makes you a Stradivarious owner, not a musician.
It's hard to think of top pro photographer of the late 50's, 60's and 70's, who didn't use at least one Nikon F, they were standard equipment before the first Canon F1 came out in 1971 there was no realistic S.L.R. alternative if you needed a camera that could pound in 6" nails and still have it work afterwards .
