Nikon F, F2 noise comparisons with other members?

Dumb thread indeed. But I don't mind coming here and getting yelled at for a silly question, if I learn something. I figured it out. The F2 gets pressed up against my glasses, at my left eye, and when it goes off, it's like its amplified, and I flinch. But by then the picture is done, so who cares if the camera might get jerked? I care, because it's loud. And it's no worse, and probably better than other F2's I have had. Some even ping. This one is very nice, and I'm very happy. Using it is another matter. This camera has very short and authoritative in action. Nothing wrong here. But it's not quiet. I don't like that loud snap.

Use the camera upside down - perfect for left-handed people who view with their left eye.
People will, however, look at you strangely.

Don't take any crap from the losers on this forum, Eagle.

I remember an old episode of "Lou Grant" where the Photographer talks about taking apart his Nikon F to modify- think it was the mirror slap, I forget. Have not seen that series in reruns. He used F's and F2's in the series.
